But before you begin, I want to share God's most important message to you: He loves you and wants a relationship with you. But because of our sin, and the Bible says we've all sinned, that relationship isn't possible. That's why He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die upon the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. If we believe that and ask Him to forgive us of our sin, He cleanses us, makes us new and gives us eternal life. But not only does He give us eternal life so that we will live forever with Him in heaven, He also lives in and through us here. He wants to live through us and give us His joy and peace. And only through Him can we truly understand and be changed by Him through His word. So if you have not done so, won't you ask Him for His forgiveness and His joy and peace? There are no magic words but if you really desire Him to be in your life, please pray this prayer to Him:

Dear God, I know that I have sinned against You and I'm sorry and want to be forgiven. I know that Jesus is Your Son and that He died to pay the penalty for my sin. Because of what Jesus did for me, I ask that You forgive me of my sin. Come into my life and make me Yours. Thank You for saving me.
